Featured Porcelain religious figure/lamp marked with B on bottom need help

You said it was converted to a lamp but if I am correct there is a red raised portion on her head that looks like it was made for a lamp all along.

 

Old fashioned writing. Maybe started as a candle holder (tazza/compote/whatever)? There is that hole in the back, which looks to me to be original rather than added, but threading a wire through that thing might be a bit of a chore.

 

There is also something VERY faintly below that name on the Tablet that @Bronwen was able to enhance a bit!!!!! UNFORTUNATELY, it is SO FAINT, I'm unable to bring it out....possibly @moreotherstuff might be able to????

I cannot figure out the puzzle of the text.
I'm leaning towards this being one of a pair.
She has an Ottoman Empire style about her.
What is the symbolism of the pattern in her coat?

 

Wonder if the first word on the tablet is Pasieno, using one of those old style Ss that look like Fs. Wish I knew which language we're up against.

 

Probably useless, but I'd be curious to know how all this looks under UV light.

 

I agree, Ottoman dress. The 'harem' trousers, opulent coat, fez with veil, are all very Ottoman. A nice Orientalist figurine, imo.
With that little protrusion on the top of her fez, I would think she was made to be a lamp base, not converted.

Sorry everyone, busy with Christmas and just noticed the second page. I assumed it was converted to a lamp because the red was touched up and looks like it was possibly patched. The hole in the back looks a little rough on the right side also.

 

I was agreeing with INH about some of the writing. I have no thoughts on whether or not the figure was always a lamp base.

 

I was able to squeeze in a bit more research and agree with the Ottoman Turkish suggestion. I found several “Sultan/Sultana” pairs where the female figure was similar to this. I don’t know if it’s a lead or dead end but some similar figures were called flasks, perfume or scent bottles with either metal tops or removable heads. Still not sure about the hole in the back which brings me around again to lamp.
