Last name could be Scarletta. Guessing notation indicates artist's proof.

I think probably Mischa Scandella - sig matches here:

Not sure if same person who is listed as IMDB as a film production designer but wouldn't be surprised:

Additional EDIT - the first link above in Italian describes it as artwork for a scene from "le baruffe chiozotte" which was/is an Italian play but was produced as a movie for Italian TV in the 60's - so I'm thinking it is the same person.

More info here on her theater productions:

Also, I really like the print - I cleaned up the image a little and straightened it out:

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Yes, Mischa is normally a man's name. (I also notice in your translated link it refers to his wife.)

    Good work, aaron!

In the for what it's worth category - 1) this does not look at all like a "woodcut." 2) all those little yellowish brown spots look like foxing to me. But are they on the paper or on the glass (which would not be foxing of course) ?

Thank You all for the help & information.
I glady & truly appreciate the effort.
I think that there should be a way to compensate members on this forum for the help they give us. Such as establishing some type of funding as a donation to the site.

I think the image looks like a litho. Look at the edge impression, it looks like the shape of a litho stone.
