See anything interesting or notable? I know the Ritz is about $10, the striped one is interesting to me.....tindeco (?) Really hard to read the inscription on bottom...it def starts w "Tind"

The 2 square ones w plug style lids just have a "made in India" stickers on bottoms. The blk Asian looking one & the floral --- ??????

Those look like tea tins to me. I used to buy tea in similar tins.

The round one on the right seems to be labeled SUGAR. Can you read the smaller print below that?

Round one has "sugar" & "the finest quality of Cuban sugar " embossed several times. Also has a side seam. Old??
The other has "coffee" and "best selection of Arabica plants" embossed on it....

Considering selling all as a lot. Bought at auction, I was sad bc no one was bidding so I got for $1 or so...

With a source of Cuba for the contents, it's probably before the communists took control in the 50s. How much earlier I don't know.

Upon further investigation, I found exact ones on ebay....apparently Silver plate (??!!!!)
I think I will pair them up, put them online for $25 obo.....

Do you think I should polish first or leave w/the patina?

silver plate? I find that difficult to believe. No markings besides the Made in India?

I can't search on eBay. Can you post the ones you found there that say silver plated?

The listing for the round one shows a picture of a silver-colored exterior but doesn't show a marking for silver plate or information about testing for plating.

The other one is a floral decorated exterior - no way it's silver plated.
