Identify this ring?

Anybody have any info on this ring? It was found in an old jewelry box of someone’s mother. Mother has ties to Lake County, Ohio and Missouri. Born in early 1900s, but not the mothers class high school ring as she has that in possession too.

 

yes that’s the photo I found online of the ring with no description. The one the person found in the jewelry box is much more worn. Here is a picture of the one found.

Any maker's mark on the inside of the shank,metal purity? Photo of inside of shank and where the surface is flaked off on the outside of the shank.

 

no marks on the inside of the ring. Just stamped silver.

 

Fraternity or Sorority Ring?

 

The A could be Alpha. The O could be Omicron. But no G in the Greek alphabet.
