It was last night when I went creeping around & the paperweight lives on the sill of a front window. It did occur to me that the lighting effects, if anyone was looking, were clearly not for Christmas. Probably made the place look haunted.

    Hi Bronwen,
At least you weren't arrested. Several years ago there was a forum story about "glowing" under black light. I was using Vaseline glass for a Halloween supper. I stopped by the supermarket with my black light to find other stuff for the supper that glowed in the dark. Someone saw me flashing my black light on items in the cases. She called the police afraid that I was radiating the food to poison people. Luckily one of the police was a woman who read our forum and knew I was looking for glow in the dark items. She saved a lot of mess for the strange man who was flashing a strange purple light on the items in the store.

Too funny. People like the woman who thought you were irradiating the food are a menace. Thank goodness law enforcement had better sense.
