Featured Pendant?

    Hi;

    I'm not sure what this is but because it has a loop for a chain, thought it might be a pendant. It's fairly heavy, and what looks like 4 small garnets with a knight on a horse in the center.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Excavated? Metal detected? It's copper-tone rather than copper, I'd wager; some of the base metal is showing through on the back. It could easily have been a keychain; if it was a pendant the horse and rider would be lined up with the bail.

    Purchased in a lot of stuff awhile ago. I thought it odd the horse was not lined up with the bale so a keychain could make sense. Thank you.
