Wood case w/Boeing metal tag - is this real?

I found this yesterday at a thrift store - it has a real metal Boeing tag and matching stenciled(?) numbers on top & front of the box; is this from Boeing or is it homemade?

Official Boeing box, but with nothing inside I can't imagine it's worth much.

 

The "767" is for a Boeing 767 aircraft. I looked up the part# just for the heck of it (no pic (4th in the list)): https://www.menches.com/aircraft-model/boeing-767/page/67/

 

Definitely Boeing logo. I worked for one of their companies many years ago.

 

My daughter and son in law work for boeing . they probably can't tell you any more that what the part number gave you. I will ask.

 

Thank you! - Any idea of age; they don't still use wood crates to transport or store jet parts do they?

The 767 was introduced in 1982 - is there a reason you doubt the part manufacture date of '11/95'?

Who is doubting date? I asked if box was real & if it was old because I figured there were stronger, lighter & cheaper ways to ship/store parts
