Another Thrift Store Find,Tall Favrile Glass Candle Holder 13"

    This is the second item I found at the thrift store.13" favrile candleholder with lots of bubbles inside.It's a beautiful piece.There's some type of name very very small.What you all think about this one. SAM_4998.JPG SAM_4999.JPG SAM_5000.JPG

    From the above link:

    "Favrile glass is a type of iridescentart glass developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. He patented this process in 1894 and first produced the glass for manufacture in 1896 in Queens, New York. It differs from most iridescent glasses because the color is ingrained in the glass itself, as well as having distinctive coloring."

    Your piece may have a slight iridescent coating but I do not believe it is Favrile.

    A dusting off might improve the overall effect, for me it does not say "Favrile."

    It has been cleaned,there's no dust on it.Might be camera effect
