Help with a bronze logo

    Hello,
    I am on a quest to identify the maker of this piece. It is a bronze I bought from France.

    Hi Razvan. The mark is a pretty blurry. I tried to sharpen it a little. Not great, but:

    Thanks, it is a bit poor in quality on the bronze too, plus I had to shrink the image so I could upload it

    The body of the cup is bronze for sure, it's very dense. The whole cup weighs around 4 kg.

    At least they ( christies ) don't know either... french or italian... :))
    Thank you verybrad for the link! It's quite possible, after seeing this pic. Probably the foot is from a kerosene lamp, and since the mark is on the foot of the lamp, this is the end of the quest.
