Found these at an estate sale. Thought house numbers until you see the reverse. Three holed brackets with bottom hole being threaded. Someone suggested grave markers. Can’t find anything that fits the bill. They are about 4” squares. Anyone? 45EB8ECB-1438-40AF-A235-1609C6EC9D4F.jpeg 931911AE-01D2-42C0-834B-7207B76533C2.jpeg 5194DEAF-5E4C-4157-AA0E-5C9CDC85945C.jpeg DC46A098-80D9-4894-9679-E395B3A012F9.jpeg

when you assemble a heavy equipment you need to follow a plan; these could be numbers and signs for the sequence of the joining points.

@J Dagger ,They seem to have the same configuration on the back as Grave Markers like the ones that were for Spanish American War dead , the threaded portion and two with no threads.

Here is the modern version there of.... I have an original in my collection....

Interesting idea. I couldn’t find anything like it in a quick search but I’ll look more.

ah there we go! So I guess the bottom would be the permanent metal pole that threads in. The top would be just for the wooden dowel mini flags to slide in. Then a year or so later when the cheap mini flag is in tatters you can just pull it out and slide a new one in. I have several GAR grave markers that hold flags. I should have looked closer at them to see if mine have this setup. Ones in another state and the other is buried in the basement. I’ll look when I get a chance. Thanks for finding this example!!!
