I found this lovely little thread winder today.
I thought it may be of interest to show here as after spending some time trying to research I think it’s a rare beast!. Approx 3.5cm across.
There are plenty of MOP ones out there but very few glass.
    Unsure of the date though……?

    I think they find me!.
I love oddities and things that I don’t know about. Some I bring home and find they are pretty common or mundane, others are little treasures.
I almost never look in the glass cases as that stuff is usually way out of my price range and I don’t get a kick out of buying stuff that has no secrets.
In the winter I go to a weekly antiques fair and there is a lady who sells vintage haberdashery stuff. This was in a little bag with a MOP one £5 for the two which I now know was a bargain.
I’m very happy to root around in the bottom of dirty boxes of junk to see what I can find!.

Given the glow and shape, I'd think early 20th and Bohemian. Lovely little thing.
