Wasnt it the Chinese who used the swastika as a good luck symbol? Looks like it has some age to me,but Im lousy with Asian stuff so wait for others.

Nathan, I am not aware of any porcelain manufacture in Tibet. The Tibetans themselves generally use Chinese porcelain, often blue and white.

The colour scheme on your bowl looks like it was made in coastal China for export to the Peranakan communities of SE Asia (Straits Chinese). So my guess is so-called Peranakan ware, made in the Canton (Guandong) region. It is antique.
Absolutely, the swastika comes in different forms. It is a sun/energy/life/protective symbol that is used all over the world, especially in Asia.
Java is another Swastika 'hotspot', so Peranakan people in Java would have loved this bowl.
