Thinking the "Berger" is just the maker or the harp, is that correct? Thinking 1940s/50s. O

Not normally my thing, but this lamp was less than $10, the shade is really kind of amazing. Shade is double layered, looks like silk or similar, even the fabric has a pattern and no stains or tears.

From quick research seems like this porcelain lace is sometimes called "Dresden lace".

I know that "Cordey" made similar, but didn't see this kind of detail when I looked at a few of the Cordey lamps.

There is a spot with damage as shown, but sort of looks like the skirt is just lifted at that point. Still a major issue, but maybe not a deal breaker for someone. A fair amount of work in this when new.

Going to be a CL sale most likely, but just wondered if we could match a maker to this piece or country of origin. Thanks.

i don't know how those ruffles and lace last over time.....but your break does not detract from the beauty...........very feminine indeed......enjoy !!!

    Thanks.

It is pretty amazing in it's own way. Some boudoir needs this.

Just realized I had the shade backwards in the first pic. Here is the correct orientation. The fabric on the shade even has a pattern.

Ooh, thanks for the link, but it doesn’t work for me. I have a pair of Dresden lamps (marked) that I would love to find out more about. Is there a typo or is the link abandoned?

It works and is still active, but it seems to be a British site, maybe it doesn't work across the pond? I get that with US sites sometimes.
Here is the main page, maybe that works, and you can enter the search term Dresden:
