strange little teapot with "n" inside triangle mark. Seems vaguely asian

    Well, it's a variation of the "Blue Willow" pattern, for starters. And that n in a triangle looks like it might be a Chinese mark for items to be sold into the western market. But that's strictly speculation on my part.
