Can anyone please tell me some terms to search with this, please? No idea where to even start.
She has a rather unnerving stare.
She's approx 8 inches down (21 cms) and just over two inches across the base( 5 cms)
She has *40* and *10* on the base.

Confession: despite the lack of Gorm I think she's quite sweet. Not up to Sindy Standards of Sweet but still quite cute :)

Did you try a Google Image search? While I doubt you'll find this exact piece it may help give you some search terms.

Yes, both Google Lens and Image Search. It only muddied the waters for me but I did notice this one, only one that I saw that was vaguely similar but I tend to not take any notice of eBay sellers

Amend...some Bernard Bloch figures do bear a resemblance now I've had a better look but not conclusive at all. Think mine is too clunky for that

Oh noticed as an aside I have what I now know to be a humidor, wondered what it was ( no idea where it is)

That numbering style is often Austrian.

I misread the title as a gormless pheasant ( are there any other types?) so was slightly surprised at the lack of an ornithological item :hilarious:

I did used to get these words mixed up,actually. Had a bit of a school girl beef with a gentleman, aeons ago,in me schooldays and I tried to insult him but he refused to be insulted. Pheasants are beautiful so was hard for him to xxx
