Wasted gas yesterday. Veterans thrift couldn't take my donations due to lack of staffing, so I took the items to a medical thrift. Today I need yet another procedure on my left eye. After two surgeries, I need a laser treatment to break up a secondary cataract. Fun times.

Oy. Sometimes you can't win. I only went to three stores today and then made a minor pest of myself at an estate sale that starts tomorrow. First store, found earrings but couldn't bring myself to buy them. Second store - nada. Third store... found a small brass or bronze statuette of someone playing a musical instrument. I think it's Kenyan but it might be Southeast Asian for all I can tell. Not a western casting for sure.

The estate sale is a cleanout and they said right in the ad it was all stuff the suviving family didn't take. The front door was open so I rang the bell and asked. No jewelry at all. I did see a brass Star of David inside, so there might be more Judaica. May have to go on Saturday after some tag sales I found.

Marko I have similar Crystal and bird-fetish MOP necklaces. I'm a collector but not jewelry, can you suggest a value?

What nerve, not letting you have the bike. Davey at least can drown his sorrow in some Bushmills. Not the worst trade-off in the books.

I still haven't uploaded the photos. I don't think it's very old, just accidentally very funny.

You can see why I cracked up. Siglinde is on the tag, plain as day. The rooster has a comb and a wattle, also plain as could be. Either she's in masculine drag or someone got a little confused. :chicken::chicken::chicken::chicken:

The joolies here always inspire me with their finds. I was looking in my old jewelry box (one with twirling ballerina) and found a pretty Weiss butterfly pin.
It may have been my grandmothers.
