    The uranium ones are glass, the pearls are that fish scale stuff. Don't think they're ever been worn.

    Fish scale: Mallorcan pearls are made using a glass core and then coated with a stuff that includes fish scale. Majorica did it first. Lovely quality and often in silver or gold.
