    Hello everyone,
Back from Brimfield and going through my goodies. Trying to figure out why it says P. Limoges. I know sometimes the artists sign Limoges pieces but not sure what this is. Also, is this an original piece of paperwork for the item when it was originally purchased? It does appear to be Russian, which does not make sense to me

Anything you can help with is very much appreciated

    Thank you

Right side 1st five lines ...
Федоскинская фабрика диплома 1 степени миниатюрной живописи
Fedoskinskaya fabrika diploma 1 stepeni miniatyurnoy zhivopisi
Fedoskino factory of the 1st degree diploma of miniature painting

The paper is probably from a Russian lacquer box.

    added (yup) ...

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

The painted image on the box is not done in a Russian style, as far as I can tell. So I think the paper probably didn't originally go with the box.

Agree, these don't appear to be related.

I like the colors as well. I didn’t think it was related since it was in Russian. Would have been cool if it did belong to the box.
