What metal am I ?

    Hi all.Wasnt sure if this is the right category but here goes . I bought this adorable thing on ebay HOPING it might be silver but doubt it is. More like pewter given the weight. Its 4 1/2 inches long,2 1/2 wide,2 inches high. All the detail on it throws me off thinking some souvenir tat,but Im often wrong ! Any input is always appreciated.

    Stamps I think.Its oval inside. I found one example like mine in brass but he didnt know who either. He is in England though. Its a start.Found a few others,all in England so Im guessing English ! None knows who,and none in the same color as mine.

    I think you're right.I was hoping silver plated bronze,cause Im not a fan of pewter.Usually,but this thing is cute !

    For cigs? I don't know if they would fit in there.

    If it does not test as silver (or silver plate) then I will guess it's nickel silver (which has no silver content). Nickel silver tarnishes a lot like silver, which that piece appears to have done.
