Featured Twin spout jug

I found this one a while ago and it sits on my mantel piece. I haven't a clue what it's supposed to he though. Numerals on base would suggest Western. The pattern looks a bit onion like so maybe Dutch or German?

That is so likeable. So... How big is it? Individual creamer size? A quart, a gallon, we can't tell from the pictures LOL!

 

I forgot about that minor detail. It's about 7cm tall

Onion pattern isn't Dutch, but it is Swedish as well as German. My guess is your cutie is Swedish.

I think it might be based on a farmer's milk can.


I can find the shape online as a can or a churn, but I'm not finding anything to say where the shape comes from.

I did have this piece once (no double spout) and it was made in Sweden:

Based on the small size, it could be for a small amount of cream or other liquid. The two spouts would allow pouring from either side.
