Hi All, I was wondering where would I post some small trinket boxes, crystal long dangling bead looking things & vanity items ?

 

What are they made of? If you can't find an obvious forum, just put them in Antique Discussion (even if you don't think they are over 100 years old.)

 

Long dangly bead looking things get good response from the Jewelry Forum. Things that could be used as jewellery boxes also get attention there. It's more about getting knowledgeable eyes on your item than getting it in the 'correct' forum. You'll be fine.

No one gets very ruffled over the category used for a new posting. If we really think it is 'wrong', i.e., not likely to get seen by the best people for the job, we ask a moderator to move it to a different forum. Many items do not fall neatly under one of the main headings, but we bumble along pretty well.
