Signed and Monogrammed Tortoiseshell hair Receiver

    This is signed Lareine . Also has a monogram on the lid. The base has some good wear so I know this has some age. I cannot find any info on the name Lareine. Can anyone help?

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    Before I looked at ANY of the pictures OTHER than the VERY 1ST one, I thought it was a Cuspidor!!!!!!!!!! AND GOOGLE was NO help other than what @Bakersgma said!!! SO I went back and looked at the REST of the pictures! PHEW, what a HUGE relief!!!!!

    I think the monogram is upside down. I see GEL. No idea what it means, but maybe someone else does.

    It's the monogram of the owner/ I have my grandmother's vanity set she was given about 1920 (when she turned 18) and it was also monogramed.
