    @BoudiccaJones :kiss:
    I’d like some help with these please.
    They look identical but one is marked on the back of the head and one isn’t. Is one a clone?
    What age would they be?
    Worth listing or too far gone, poor Sindys! Thanks :)

    Hey lovely...they are both Sindy. Late 70s/early 80s basic's and worth listing. They aren't too bad. These are the most common Sindy but all Pedigrees are worth listing xx

    Good lukck, K. Maybe worth mentioning in title **suitable for OOAK** as these are great to start off with, nice easy soft heads with huge neck holes!

    Bou, have you seen the Facebook page called SindySnap?

    Yes, though I get all the Sindy pages mixed up, there are hundreds. I had one years ago and lost interest, since then they have sprung up everywhere. Most of them seem to belong to newer collectors. When I first started collecting there was no Facebook and we all used to hang out in forums, I think it's better as it is now. I just CBA with most of the pages though, I only participate in one or two xx

    This one is huge fun, she creates tableaux and scenes.

    A lot of them do that, it's not really my scene but can I sometimes appreciate the effort they put in. A lot of them seem to think their dollies are alive, and I've always thought that a little weird x

    Oh, my, Bou, at one of the malls I'm in a customer shops once or twice a year "collecting" Cabbage Patch Kids. She buys most of the "Kids" available when she visits. Dressed or undressed, new- in-the-box or well-used doesn't matter, she takes them all home to care for them because they need a home and someone to love them. Her husband is a genuine saint as he obviously cares deeply for her and all the "kids". A strange, sad tale.

    I think a lot of people think collecting dollies is weird.
    I see a lady here often who pushes a baby doll around in a baby pram. I hope it gives her comfort and she's not hurting anyone at all, but when I say I collect dollies I think that's what people think.
    It's a bit like those Reborn things. I think the artistry and skill in them is amazing but Reborns aren't the same as fashion dolls and I'm all about the fashion !

    I find the reborns quite disturbing. They are too lifelike yet lifeless. As you say though, each to their own and they do no harm.
    Randomly I went down the rabbit hole of looking at Victorian death photographs the other day. Oh wow, some are macabre, some amusing in a horrifying sort of way and some downright heartbreaking.

    Most of em on the internet are fake, but I love them. I don't ever want to own one but they are beautiful. Some of them :O
