Featured Pools of Light

Unbelievable, found this set at an estate sale today. Never thought I would see pools of light in person. They test as quartz, and have a floral wrap. I haven't tested the metal but it doesn't look like sterling.
Last week saphiret, this week pools of light. Unbelievable.
And many thanks to all the folks on this board and the ebay jewelry board. I wouldn't even know what saphiret and pools of light are without the knowledge shared on these boards.

So jealous-been looking for a set at a price for years. Just saw a 3 piece beauty at a show but they wouldn’t budge from $2500 and that didn’t work for me.

I am thrilled and feel very lucky.
I saw this in the estate sale photos, but I think it was a late addition photo since I don't remember seeing it when I looked earlier. I got there 2 hours early to be sure I was first in line, and actually I was second, but the #1 was after something else.

So, did they know what they had or did you get it for a steal?

Either way, it is a wonderful set & you should do very well on it.

Just curious, will it be listed in one of the jewelry categories where eBay is raising the fees starting next month? I do not know exactly what the FVF is going up to just that it is set to take effect on 9/15.

Wowzer! Not just a necklace, a set!!!! I saw an actress wearing pools of light earrings in a movie set in the 1920s, they were stunning.

 

Here's hoping the sellers didn't have a clue!

They did not know what it was. It was not cheap but still a very good deal for what it is.
I was under the impression that all jewelry on ebay will be subject to the increased rate, but I could be wrong.

I tested the metal, and I do not think it is sterling. Probably silverplate, but I'm not sure. haven't had a chance to research.
