Help with Table Lamp

    Help identifying this Lamp 47" Tall approx.. I seen a few similar from Loevsky? Very heavy, there are 3 arms with prisms.. the inside liner of lampshade was tearing and deteriorating sp I trimmed it out.. Any Idea of possible worth if any?

    1970s or so. Some people in some areas would go nuts for this. Most people in most areas would run screaming. Don't think the shade is original.

    Most of these lamps were made of Spelter. Cheap and has a low melting point. Spelter can be Zinc or a Zinc alloy. Zinc is a heavy metal and that accounts for a lot of the weight in this particular lamp.

    Hi,
    That is what I refer to as a Bordello lamp. The whorehouse lamps from the early 1900s had a lot of red colors that glowed when the lamp was lit.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Not sure who made your lamp but I have one that I happen to love LOL I am pretty sure came from the same maker based upon the base of yours.
