    Hi all,
I'm excited, my friend showed up with some boxes of smalls for me which means I don't have to organize my books (rants and raves thread):)
I have uncovered a number of Inuit pieces, I suspect there will be more. Also some glass and maybe Jade pieces but I'm not sure on those.
Here are a couple of quick group photos to share

my 2 favourites (so far) are the Walrus that I believe is carved from bone, 4 1/4"H
    DSCF2005.jpg

and this 3 face fellow by Robert Hallauk dated 2000

    DSCF2071.jpg DSCF2074.jpg DSCF2075.jpg

this fish is pretty sweet too so maybe my 3rd favourite piece, 8 1/2"L

thanks bakers:) I know, the walrus has that look so you have to love him! The fish is one of those pieces that just feels good when you hold it, it might be one I'll keep.

The fish is an Arctic Char
The seal on the ivory may be Baker Lake...? maybe older too..
    Luv the jade rabbit !!!
I sold a antler walrus like that.....Mark will know where it's from...

Check Vancouver jade carving prices....there's money there !
For the Inuit..........best to let @Mark London have a look see...to see if he spots something worth a better look !!

    thanks komokwa:)
I'll take some better photos of everything tomorrow. I was looking at the Van Jade site, crazy high prices to me. The bear with the fish was a gift to a Safeway employee for 30 years service.

The caribou antler walrus is by Kuniliusie from Clyde River. The drum dancer is likely by Robert Hallauk from Arviat (Eskimo Point).

    Is the fish signed?

thank-you Mark:) yes, the drum dancer is signed Robert Hallauk.
I had thought bone for the Walrus because of the areas with holes (in the photo below) so good to know it is antler.

Here are a couple of Tommy Kuniliusee pieces from my personal collection. I like when he uses nylon fishing line for whiskers. IMG_7974.jpg

2 pieces by Leo Patrick. The only information I found on him is a listing on Worthpoint but doesn't say where he is from. Are these done in Soapstone?
