    well.....now I've seen more than one........

    still....serrated......but I guess they do exist....... & Don's knife could very well have been used in this fashion.....being maybe an heirloom....or the only knife available for this purpose....that could be ' hidden ' when not it use....

    The lack of serrations is one reason I wasn't thinking challah; straight blades just shred breads.

    ...and Komo mentioned challah knots. Now I'm wanting those, some roasted turkey, cranberry sauce...run it under the broiler.... (with cheese if you're a Gentile)....

    no no...for this Jewish guy too !!
    U hit me where I live......turkey on challah with melted cheeze .......& spicy mustard..!!!
