Rhino sculpture provenance

Can anyone help me with the Provenance on this sculpture is approximately 10" tall by 16" long and 8" wide weighing approximately 25 pounds

Appears to be malachite. Suspect it is Chinese.

 

ya I was thinking stone...
but if yer gonna make that........you had better sign that !!!!!

 

Appears there might be a signature on the left rear foot and base area???

It could have been made by the Shona, of Zimbabwe and Mozambique:

And I think the stone is verdite, which is found in S. Africa.

 

After seeing Aqui's blowup, I changed my mind about malachite. Rhino has a more crystalline look.

 

I think @Any Jewelry may be right.
