Translation on WW2 sword

    DSC_0010.JPG DSC_0009.JPG DSC_0002.JPG DSC_0008.JPG DSC_0004.JPG DSC_0005 (2).JPG I know vary little about this sword. I know my grandfather brought it back from ww2 and it's in vary bad shape.

    Looks like a military issue sword.Do not clean any part of it.Need better and closeup photos of the blade.

    you need a japanese sword web site....they'll know how made it....and whatever value is left there....
    it sure looks like whomever owned it.....used it.....a lot !!!

    Just one sword and yes it's signed on the tang. I have close ups on the way

    Appears to be a gunto by 井戸秀俊 (Ito Hidetoshi).
