Antique "Key and Star" Glass

I have 4 pieces of glass in either identical or similar patterns.

The bowl and glasses came with a note that said they were blown flint glass in Boston & Sandwich's "Roman Key and Star" pattern. In my few books on B&S, I don't see any mention of that pattern. I have found some Ebay items labeled as such, but you know how that goes….

The bowl is 4 3/4" top diameter, 2 3/8" high, definitely blown. The little shot type glasses are 2 1/4" high. The dome is 6 1/2" in diameter, 6 3/8" tall to the top of the finial, which has an elongated bubble or open center. The bowl and dome have a beautiful ring--I think the shots are too small to really ring.

Can anyone confirm a maker?

I'm familiar with the pattern 'Greek Key". It's typically seen as a continuing labyrinth. This up/down/across line is a 'meander' which a Greek Key is as well. Stars, bursts, suns for sure so that title makes sense to me but not necessarily the maker's sensibilities.

 

Yes, the pattern is not what I'd call Greek key. I've never heard of "Roman Key", but then, glassmakers sometimes assign pattern names that confound me. And yes, the glass is quite thin and lightweight. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if Boston & Sandwich did this pattern or if there was another maker or more.

I appreciate your taking the time to find that decanter! I guess I'm a skeptic, though. I'm really looking for confirmation of the B&S origin--just saying it (especially on Ebay) doesn't make it so, and I don't see any reference in the description. Also, I've never seen a B&S decanter with that shape, but I'm no expert.
