    Hi,

Apologies I posted this in the wrong thread. I picked these 2 plates, would appreciate if anyone can give me any info on them. No hallmarks and it seems they are copper, silver plated.
    Thanks. plate 1.jpg plate 2.jpg

The men are medieval European, your image is Persian.
I will post a clearer image. back plates.jpg plate detail.jpg

I certainly get an Assyrian griffin feel off the winged creature.

I think you are right, they might be Persian.

This one is 100% Persian. it has the Zoroastrian Faravahar symbol on top, and other Zoroastrian imagery.

It is made of tinned copper.

I suspect the other one is Persian too, but it is too grainy for me to see.

You have confused me completely. Are both of these photos of one of your plates? Figures look Mesopotamian to me.
