    Hiya. Dog rescue, great stuff. I run [used advisedly - it sounds as if I'm organised] a sort of cat shelter. Very worthwhile if quite often, more than a bit chaotic. Like dogs too.

    I'm a wanna-be crazy cat lady, with only one cat. (sigh) I'm into anything with a fur coat, except for small rodents not in the house by invitation.

    It's genetic. My family never ever had a pet that anyone actually chose. They were all rescue pets. Re the 'crazy' bit, I'd never let on to my guys but they sometimes actually do drive me crazy :)

    I went crazy so long ago the insanity declaration is now a vintage not-so collectible.(LOL) My latest kitty and her two predecessors were shelter rescues and the rest mostly just sort of showed up.
