Incredibly heavy glass and brass? Piece. Please help identify

    Thank you. Its very heavy and the metal is not magnetic. Would it be brass or bronze do you think?

    It's pot metal usually. I found the following definition of pot metal on Wikipedia. "Pot metal (or monkey metal) is an alloy of low-melting point metals that manufacturers use to make fast, inexpensive castings." It may have a light brass coating but it's not solid brass.

    Some sellers would define the style of your tidbit as Hollywood Regency.
