Style of This Antique Bench with Back and Chair?

I was given this bench by a friend also a neighbor whose neighbor passed away. She thought it was a Mid-Century bench which is my favorite, especially Mid-Century Danish. Given the curvy lines and carving on the bench, I’m doubtful.

The bottom of the bench looked like it was recently repaired so the label/marking was removed. We are hoping that its features would suffice for someone to identify its style and the era it may come from.

!d guess 1880-1900, Empire revival perhaps.Nice thing ,but its as far from MC< as you could get. You can mix styles ,it might look great in a room full of mcm.

 

I can't stick a style on that. I wonder if someone else can. To me, it has a Asiatic look, almost like a Chinese throne. Could it be mid-century like that? Newer? Could it be European Aesthetic period? I think it's interesting.

Think this is probably Edwardian. Kind of a mix of styles.
