Hello I’m new at this so if I don’t do it properly my apologies. I found this vase but can’t find much info on it. I wrote the factory and they only do new Henriot Quimper pottery. Can anyone tell me how old it is and possible value? Thank you
I don’t understand the poll thing.

    Closed in 1968

I would suspect the design to be contemporaneous the deco era

Well, antique would make it 100 years old. Vintage perhaps.

"Fact: the Henriot factory went out of business in 1968.

Reality: genuine pieces of Quimper pottery were produced using the Henriot mark for many, many years beyond 1968"

Don't know how reliable but information came from here.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Is it JUST the 'wall pockets' or only a certain style of the Henriot Quimper work that has that "not quite professional finish" work look to it???

I wrote the old Quimper website and here is what they wrote back just in case you’re interested.

Your vase is Quimper faïence, made at the Henriot pottery factory circa 1960. The motif is an interpretation of the embroidery patterns used on the traditional dress worn by the men and women of Brittany up to the twentieth century. The notation "France" on the bottom indicates that the vase was always intended to be sold to customers outside of France and the 855 is the number of the form. I've attached a scan of a company catalog from that time...form 855 is in the center left. The motifs were hand-painted, so the design on yours differs a bit. The idea of using the vintage embroidery motifs for the pottery happens to be the theme of this year's exhibition at Quimper's Faïence Museum.

Yes. We owned a B&M store in the 80s and sold new Quimper.
