    Hello,
These look new with and old vibe to them It’s not hand painted. Any ideas on the age, maker, origin? I wonder if they are even made to be eaten off.
    Thank you

I'm sorry, I cannot figure out what I am looking at on top of the packing box. Is it a pink square glass plate with printed leaves and birds in the center?

I doubt I would want to eat off of them, food and knives may damage the pattern.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Lay them on a white sheet or pillow case.....easier for us all to see....or a piece of paper if it's big enough!!

Which part is the plate and which part is the box?
Is the plate a flat piece of glass, like a glass coaster?

USPS provides Priority shipping boxes for free, they are trying to ensure people don't use them for anything other than Priority shipping. They also print this pattern on the inside to prevent people from turning the box inside out. I'm afraid I was guilty of that a couple of times

It looks more like a cutting board than a plate? How many did you get?

This reminds me of those glass decorated plates they sold in the 60/70s. The glass is weird and I think it's tempered glass. I'm attaching photos of the one plate I have that I use for serving Cheese and crackers. Maybe they're hors divers plates that were used at parties (and yes, I refuse to look up the correct spelling). There are lots of them on ebay but I forget how to search for them, maybe the correct spelling. Anyway, here are my photos, Sorry for the poor quality but I don't sell on line any more and my regular gear has been put away. My plate is 9" square and is smoke color.

BTW, I love this plate and there's no reason for it. It just pulls on one of those memory threads but I can't identify which one it is.

The glass is thick, I think tempered could be correct. The design is stamped as far as I can tell and is on top. I don’t see using a for and knife on these. I guess appetizers would be ok as long as they are finger foods. It’s amethyst or purple in color. I liked the color combo and MCM vibe of the bird. Hope this helps. Thank you lots for responding.
