Featured Help with marks on a pearl earring please

    Did you use a loupe? The one on the right looks like a star in a circle, but I can’t see what’s on the left.

    I see a five pointed star as well. If it only were six pointed.... I can't make out the other mark.
    The style looks 1960s-early 70s, with that Brutalist circle. The omega-backed stud is used by some quality makers, never on cheap stuff.

    Star in a circle is Italian, as I recall.

    The mark on the left is an indented 81 in an irregularly shaped stamp, the right is a 5 pointed star. The metal is gold colored but tarnished slightly with a brownish color.
