Featured Mahjong set

Hi everybody. I found this Mahjong set and have a couple questions:

Is it a 'complete' set? I see conflicting info online, esp about the flowers / seasons tiles.

Is it likely Bakelite? From what decade would you guess?

A traditional mahjong set has 144 tiles.

Start counting!

Traditionally, they're made of bone and bamboo. These look like some variety of plastic.

As for age? Second half of the 20th century would be my guess.

I bought a tube of simichrome to test with.

 

you're missing some bits and pieces...... mom had the Chinese coins for that 4 prong metal stand..
