    I have an almost identical chain necklace like that. Mine is from India. Can't help with the name? I used to make these chains out of twisted silver wire,I solderd each loop then took a hammer to flatten them.

    Chainmaille
    or
    Chain Maille
    or
    Chain Mail

    Lots o' spellings...
    & so many different varieties that I've gone half blind without finding the same style.

    Half Persian box ....got me close....but no cigar...

    It's hard to spot the exact design with that flat rope wire.

    ( I'm used to the Navajo using that......but not in this way ! )

    It may be a version of Jens Pind Linkage.........( maybe...)
    but it's late and I can no longer see clearly.........
