What caught my eye was the “naturalistic” sort of form. The browned areas around the rims is slightly rough like a satin paint would be as apposed to gloss. Not my area of expertise but the paint work looks really good, even over some challenging terrain. Pretty scarcely marked and the marks don’t necessarily match.
Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thank You!

I was thinking that but wouldn’t they normally have a handle? I was thinking that maybe it had a base or something it rested on as the bottom has an interesting shape...but again...NOT my area of expertise.

Size? By shape alone, look like creamer & sugar bowl.

Sorry, blew it on providing scale. The pitcher is approx 7”-8” tall.

Is that base to highest point? The body where contents are held looks about 2/3 that, so not overly tall for a creamer.

Yes. Holding it it seemed pretty large for a creamer but I see what you mean about the low shoulders.

The bowl is a mystery. Does it rock the way it is? Does look as though it is meant to slot into some kind of base. Not something I have seen before.

The little marks may just be painters' initials: 2 different people doing the same design.

The handle on the pitcher/creamer doesn't look very comfortable. If you can only get a couple of fingers into it, suggests more tea things to me than a water pitcher.

The bowl sits solidly, no rocking.

I think an average woman could get at least 3 fingers into the handle, maybe all 4.....my sausage fingers only 2. I’m not with items now so I can’t give any more photos...sorry.
I’d be surprised of these were not painted by the same person, but I’m often surprised so.

I have two pieces on my mantle, a creamer and a vase, that are from the same company, though mine have different flowers.

Someone in Antiquers posted another piece from the same company at least a couple of years ago, but I don't remember who it was. I don't remember if she knew the company... if she did, I've forgotten who they were.

Sorry that my saying this doesn't actually help in identifying the maker! :hilarious:

Meaning they are the same shape? Does the creamer have the same form as Shwikman's?

Think those are probably German or Austrian. And a nicer porcelain, similar, but different. I see numbers for the shape style

I think the Ops might be Austrian with that rough base.
I see different initials - maybe for the different painters.

    Time period around WWI

Just observations, nothing to back my thoughts up with.

The etsy sugar bowl sure has a very similar shape, except the reverse bottom:

Definitely what my mother would have described with the catch-all term 'Bohemian' porcelain, which seems to have included the whole Austro-Hungarian empire.

Correction: My mother would have called it Bavarian china.
