Does anyone have some information and background to share, especially likely age on this antique bowl please. See pics. Some restoration work required. Height is about 100mm, width about 140mm. Estimate of value and any info in general much appreciated. Thanks

My feeling is that this piece was made sometime in the 1930's.

Here's a bit about Fielding's Crown Devon. There's more at the links given:

... In 1912, the Railway Works was renamed The Devon Pottery and Fielding developed the famous CROWN DEVON name.

    ******************

... The second major phase of the company’s success arrived with designer, Enoch Boulton, in 1929 and lasted until the outbreak of World War Two. Boulton’s influence as an Art Deco designer of note carried the company to new heights.

...Soon after Boulton’s arrival at Crown Devon, the company’s back stamp was changed from a somewhat tired Edwardian logo to a modern Art Deco motif that, in hindsight, was a strong portent of what was to come.
(NOTE: Your piece seems to have this new logo.)

Here are some 1930's examples. The ones where a number on the base is mentioned, all have either A20 (same as yours) - or, in one case, A19:

Not quite antique, you need to wait another 11 years or so to call it that ;)

Yup, 1930s. Sadly, that paint loss will diminish the value. It's fun stuff. Not copying Susie Cooper but in the style of Clarice Cliff.
