Featured Deco bracelet

l love Deco patterns and styles so bought this bracelet. What do you think it's origins are and is it possible to narrow the age down at all?.
It has one poor repair on the clasp but also some initials scratched on to it.
Any thoughts?

Absolutely adore this piece. Not even sure of the time frame, almost thinking Bauhaus era, but could be earlier or later, not sure. Hoping someone here has seen similar so we can nail down the time for you.

Any chance for a photo with it completely lying flat so we can see the entire length end to end? Is it one solid piece of mesh that sort of runs through the whole piece? A few more photos would be great.

Thinking German/Austrian because of the style of the flowers and leaves on the clasp.

I'm glad you like it as much as I do!. The seller mentioned Weiner Werkstatte style in the listing but there aren't any stamps so I think that was an educated guess?.
I'll get another photo later but yes the mesh runs throughout.

I agree earlier than Deco. Early 20th to my eye.

 

Wiener Werkstatte would have been my guess too. Could also be German, as kyra mentioned. I see those leaves and flowers a lot on early 20th century German jewellery, and they are neighbouring countries, after all.

 

Clasp looks to be acanthus, which is typically late Victorian/Edwardian.

 

Maybe KSW could post a photo of the clasp, but to me it looks like 3 bell-like flowers and three leaves, alternating, in two rows. So one flower and two leaves in the top row, and two flowers and one leaf in the bottom row. Very much like in German and Austrian Jugendstil and Rezession jewellery and on into early Deco.

 

Have a look at the leaf shape? Heart shaped, so not a campanula.

 

Just saying what they look like, three flowers and three leaves, as opposed to an acanthus leaf. Whether the artist knew his botany, I couldn't say.

 

Don't get me started on artists and botany.

I see where the idea to Bauhaus comes from, but those have abstract elements that are repeated.
first thought was Wiener Secession with a second thought of arts and crafts due to the ivy and tulip details.
