WIKP pottery in Austria. Does anyone know what WIKP stands for.

    Hi All,

    Am hoping someone might be familiar with the WIKP pottery company in Austria. Have found some hand painted majolica dinnerware with flowers and birds. One piece has a paper label with the WIKP heart logo with a cross at the top. Reads: Hand Gedreht Gemalt. WIKP.JPG WIKP.JPG Have not been able to find any info about the company. Wondering what WIK stands for - assuming the P is for Pottery. Wondering where it is located in Austria. How long it is/was in business. This is a new one for me and am curious. WIKP Austria.JPG
    Any info is much appreciated. TIA

    Cluttered, in my (not terribly educated about this stuff) opinion, it is not - but what do I know?(!!!)

    I was thinking it wasn't majolica either, but wasn't sure and didn't want to say so.
    And since Janet likes your opinion, we can maybe guess that she agrees.
