Featured Costume glass necklace and bracelet

Do you think this bracelet and necklace are recognisable as made by any particular designer or just run of the mill?
They strike me as being a cut above modern tat in quality. Base metal as obviously some wear to the gold colour. Pretty faceted glass and quite heavy especially the bracelet.
No marks any where I can see.
Any ideas please?. The photo looks like they are scratched but it’s reflection.

The glass is pretty. How does the necklace hook together, I see the hook but can't see in the photo what it attaches too. Is there an extender or is it just a loop of some kind?

This isn't making me think instantly of a certain designer, but maybe someone else will have luck. Occasionally with parures the maker was signed on the earrings only. But also could be made by a lesser known company that didn't sign their pieces.

Perhaps the glass will be a clue, wait for others.

 

The hook goes onto a tiny little ring exactly the same as the one the hook is attached to so nothing useful sadly.

 

That glass is typical of 1960s stuff. Art glass made to look like agate. Might be German with those hooks.

 

Porphyr glass, if memory serves. The glass is German, almost certainly. The settings could be from anywhere, and I agree with Bear on the 60s. The length around ought to give you a good idea of the age. The longer it is the newer it is.

That’s why it’s a bit tight!. I’ll rob one off a broken necklace. The word Porphyr was the clue

 

Aha. Yeah, the pine cone is Pennino.

 

Given what the words porphyry & porphyria mean in the world of rocks & medicine, wonder how it became applied to this streaked glass. The stone is deep red to dark purple & speckled.

 

In glass it refers to that streaky "eye" in the center. I have a chunk of the stone sitting here somewhere. No clue how it connects to the disease.
