I applaud you Hollyblue. When these people - trolls and shills - are not simply the lowest form of basement dweller being (bad word) because they can then they are paid employees whose job is to disseminate misinfo, hate and sow discord and confusion, or FUD - fear, uncertainty and doubt, usually found where discussion occurs on more sensitive topics like politics, the environment, nuclear power, etc.
They are an internet age pestilence.

One of my sons thinks it's funny to ring me in the middle of my hectic day and try to troll me on the 'phone... he rings and says nothing. He wants me to burst into song ( god only knows why) as I did on one memorable occasion when I warbled actually a surprising amount of October Swimmer. It was one of those internet/BT ones which I think are particularly despicable so he had it both barrels. Took him much longer to put the phone down than I expected. Bet his ears were never the same again

 

Any day now someone will write & ask if we have Prince Albert in a can. The mild attempt at getting the name & address of someone who might have a particular interest in a Quran is less benign.

I’m obviously incredibly naive but how did this thread go from some arrow heads to the Q’ran and multiple identities?. Confused.......what’s he trying to do?

 

Big kerfuffle yesterday - someone was creating a whole bunch of new identities and disrupting things. Davey took care of them!

Thanks for the update. Very odd. I see how they were trying to shock people on that thread but the Arrowheads one is very random. There was I thinking I was going to learn about arrowheads and find it's someone creating malicious mischief.
