I'm going to guess that those fold and that they are a picnic kit. The cup....anything goes I would think and doubt 'change' purse goes with.

It doesn't look basic or tough enough for military issue. I'd say camping too. The cup looks like something made more for farm or industrial use than as a soldier's piece too.

Camping gear. I agree the cup is not related.

That purse is a spectacle case. 1d is an Imperial measure and my brain has lost what it stands for.

Could it simply mean 1 a Day?

    Nope, I've remembered. It's a drachm.

    Hi Bear,
Drachm is a weight not a measure.

    Uh Oh.....
The reason I offered my idea is it's so big...otherwise...who really cares how much it holds...really.

It's a measure of volume in British Imperial. Eight drachms are one fluid ounce. I don't think you guys use it. ;)

    Hi Bear,
Thanks for the clairification. I have a set of drachm weights we use in Pharmacy. If using it for Imperial volumes the cup looks like it holds more than 1/8 of an ounce.???

Ah! That is what I thought. I thought a Drachm was small so that can't be right at 1. Should be 8 then...
Again I state that that is awful large stamped into it....

Hm. Yes it does look like more than that. Can you measure how much fluid or whatever it takes? Got a measuring jug with fl oz on it?

On the cup, the 25 (25 cl?) could be the size and 1D the manufacturer's mark or the user's mark. Railroads marked their bits and pieces (not those bits and pieces, and if they did I don't want to know about it) with the road name. Larger factories may have done the same to reduce pilferage.
