Featured Vase with swirls and crown on paper seal (on bottom)

10x7 pottery vase. On the paper seal, I can barely make out part of it an it says
“P. A. W. Philippona”. I can hardly make out the bottom part which may start with “Grav... “ something. Again, no clue where mom and dad got this beauty! Thank you, all!

Oh my goodness, of course it is Dutch but I never would have guessed! Thank you. I’m too overwhelmed with packing to look things up. Any Jewelry has been a huge help already!!!

Very nice piece of studio pottery!

P.A.W. Philippona. Established since 1832 in the Haagsche Noordeinde.

They became connected with Rörstrand at some point.

Both are old porcelain companies, but
Rörstrand also became known for more modern design. I can't say for sure - that's all I got!

@Ownedbybear and others will know what's up with it.

 

Designs affiliated with P.A.W. Philippona Gravenhage. i'm just guessing on the Rörstrand as it's the one I know does modern work.

I don't know the manufacturer, but the shop is in the van Hoytemastraat, which is a posh shopping street in The Hague.

 

I believe it is Rostrand under P. A. W. Philippona, so no signature...
