    Hello, fellow forum-goers,

I have recently acquired an antique Rasmus Solberg table from an estate sale. I don’t know much at all about the piece, except that the maker is a prominent/quality outlet. If anyone of you could tell me your opinion of the piece based on the attached photos, I would be in your debt. I’d like to know the age, relative condition, and any X factors you think I should know about. If anyone has any experience restoring the surfaces or resell I would like to know your opinions too!

    Thank you all!

    Thank you!

I’m quite amateur, what does MCM abbreviate?

Welcome! But just a clarification... Your item would be considered vintage, rather than antique as it is not (yet) 100 years old or older.

Agreed, not antique, but vintage. Good clarification.

Don't feel bad. These days a vintage Norwegian MCM table is probably worth more than most antique tables.
