Featured Ring with what looks like 161 10KP?

Not sure what this means thought maybe someone might be able to help.
Pics are of the markings and of the ring incase anyone recognizes it? The stone (emerald? or simulated?) You can see light through it when held up to light. Others stones not sure if they are rhinestones or diamonds?

I added a couple angles of the markings.

 

KP generally denotes plumb gold - gold content that's smack on whatever karatage it's marked. American manufacturers are allowed a bit of leeway over or under exact gold percentages and the plumb designation means it's bang on. It's possible this could be gold plate too, but that's generally marked EP rather than just P. The emerald might be simulated, synthetic or lab-grown or might be earth-mined. Sometimes even jewelers have a tough time telling.

Thanks to you both. It is another piece from my mother in law's closet. Was her mom's. Guess I will set it aside and have it checked.

That looks legit all right. I googled it and found more gold wedding bands by the same unknown manufacturer. Scotty must have beamed the factory up! ...or one of us got cheesed off at one idjut too many and took it apart brick by brick.

 

OH MY! Where is the laugh emoji when you need it. Cosmic PMS sounds like my house! Only 2 of us left but I had 3 girls. Talk about Cosmic PMS.

 

Could it possibly say AGI and it is worn off some?
