looooong time since I bought a costly thingy on ebay. couldn't resist this one; seems nobody recognized the mark.
although some damages on both lower corners, I think it may be worth more than the 500 € I paid.
57 centimeters high, Johann von Schwarz Nürnberg.

I wonder if it was outside and the water froze in it...

I've wondered what is acceptable to delay its demise. Can one a pour a layer of some kind of liquid in it, silicone maybe, to keep it together? Is that ok?
I have a very old, quite large, 'Black Ball Steamship Line' tankard with this issue.

there are sealants in aviation (Dow Corning a.o.) you can mix and make them more fluid by adding solvents (MEK etc.).
I'd only do that if you do not intend to sell it on.
I mostly used that method (not officially recognized...) to seal off wastebaskets in the kitchen galleys, because the "dolls" didn't know anything about corrosion...

Can the damage be repaired ?
When I used to sell at the Newark antiques fair some dealers and myself used to sell damaged pottery for the expert repairers to practise on.
Even glued up and cemented stuff was un-repaired so it could be invisibly mended.

JMHO. not worth the trial on this piece, you could do more damage than good by trying to separate it and re-fix it. and it's not that visible when standing against a wall.

I agree for cracks go off at all angles and to separate them would surely do more damage. This is why I'm thinking that something could hold it all together within and seal it. Silicone can be removed.

    So beautiful! congratulations...

Maybe see if you can have a tin liner made for it?

Seems like it might have had one originally, since tossing an umbrella into a ceramic vessel would lead to damage like that... ouch!

Don't know why I was thinking umbrella stand... is it a vase?

no vase. mentioned as umbrella stand in the reference book, and also 57 centimeters with this form ?
from the inside glazing no original tin foreseen. and I've never seen a piece of Norica/ von Schwarz with tin liners.

I use a Doulton Lambeth stick stand every day. It's as found, but doesn't show, hence why I got it for fifty bucks. ;) I've an old towel inside it, so as not to damage the base.

The tin won't keep it from getting worse and coming apart.
